How did you get into air freight/logistics?
I have always been passionate about technology, and logistics presented an exciting challenge to digitize and streamline operations. I was drawn to the huge potential of transitioning into this industry, as I saw an opportunity to make a real impact on global trade.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
One of the best pieces of advice I’ve received is to “stay focused on the long-term vision, but always be flexible in your approach.”
What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?
The most adventurous thing I’ve done was hiking remote Himalayan trails, pushing my physical and mental limits in a demanding but rewarding environment.
If you could have dinner with any three people, living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would choose Steve Jobs for his visionary approach to technology, Nelson Mandela for his resilience and leadership, and Leonardo da Vinci for his boundless creativity.
What is something we don’t know about you from your CV?
I am a huge fan of Formula 1 racing and love following the sport when I have the time. It combines precision, speed and strategy, just like the logistics industry.
What’s a hobby you’ve always wanted to try but never got around to?
I’ve always wanted to learn to play guitar but haven’t had the opportunity to make time for it yet.
If you had not pursued a career in air freight, what other field would you have liked to get into?
I think I would pursue a career in technological innovation, perhaps focusing on something like renewable energy or space exploration.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
The ability to travel through time – There is a lot to learn from the past and a lot of potential for the future.
What is your proudest moment and biggest regret? The proudest moment for me was when Kale Logistics won global recognition at the United Nations for its contribution to the digitization of the air freight industry. My biggest regret is not spending more time traveling in my younger years.
If there was a movie about your life, who would you like to play the lead role in it?
I would love to see someone like Christian Bale take on this role. He has the strength and diversity needed to highlight the complexities of leading a global technology company.

The logistics industry is at the heart of global trade, and with technology reshaping the future, now is the best time to get into it. Be prepared to embrace change and innovation, as the industry will continue to evolve.
How do you motivate your team?
I motivate my team by encouraging open communication, setting clear goals, and ensuring they have the right resources and environment to succeed.
What’s the one thing you can’t travel without?
A good pair of noise canceling headphones are a lifesaver on long flights.
Who is your role model?
My role model is my father, who taught me the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. His guidance and support have been the foundation of my success, and he inspires me every day to strive for excellence and make a positive impact.

Dogs for sure. They are loyal, energetic and wonderful companions.
Early riser or night owl? I’m an early riser, mornings are the most productive part of my day.
What’s the best and worst purchase you’ve ever made? My best purchase was my first technology gadget — a personal computer — it opened my world to technology. The worst would be an expensive watch that I bought on impulse and rarely wear.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I can live on simple faran bhat (plain lentils and rice) – simple but packed with flavour.
