How did you get into the air freight field?
Growing up in a family rooted in the air freight industry, I have developed a passion for air freight, logistics, and its people. My father was Olympic Airlines’ first cargo manager, appointed by Aristotelis Onassis in 1957. Five years later, he founded the first and oldest IATA-certified air cargo organization in Greece, representing global giants such as AEI, Emery and Amerford , UTI, and the airline. Various airlines as a GSA. I started immersing myself in this business when I was 16 years old during the summer holidays, and by 18 years old, I pursued studies and internships in the field of air freight and logistics in the UK and USA. In the early 2000s, I took the opportunity to move to China during the peak of the air cargo industry. There, it perfected the BSA/CPA/EQ M&A business model, which was relatively unknown to Europeans at the time. I have founded several organizations specializing in wholesale neutral air freight, brokerage, prime combined load, and commercial freight forwarding.
