Sarah Scheby is the head of ECS Group Operations and TCE administrative manager, where she is internationally responsible for all aspects of operation, quality, safety and security of the group, especially for TCM products. Scheby joined ECS Group in January 2019, responsible for TCE and a full operating organization structure within the group. It has more than 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, including QSS and compliance management roles.How did you enter the terms of the tendons/logistics services?
As most people in logistical services – by a complete coincidence … and as always, you love it or hate it ….. your guess remains.
What is the best advice you received ever?
My grandfather always told me that I have a very high level of practical intelligence and I should always rely on it to find solutions – there is no failure, either you succeed or learn but you should never give up. Whenever I encounter, I face challenges in my life, I always remember this and continue to go, and in reality it works.
What is the thing that we do not know about you from your CV?
I am a very passionate salsa dancer – this is definitely something you will not learn from my CV.
What hobby did you always want to try but never wandered?
I love to become a pilot myself and finally learn to play the Chilo.
If you have not followed a profession in the field of aviation, what is the other field that you wanted to go to?
There was a completely different thing that is my initial plan, and I usually wanted to become a doctor (a surgeon to be careful) and perhaps this was my way to go.
If you can get any great power, what will be?
Well, there are many gentle great powers … but having the possibility of predicting that the future will sometimes be nice to prepare – especially in our industry.
If there is a movie about your life, who would you like to see the role of the leadership?
I was thinking about Charles Theron or Julia Roberts.
If we look back in your career, what will your message be for a person who is thinking about a profession in logistical services?
Make sure to challenge the challenges, be excited, and be a player in the team and never be lazy to go to an additional mile- this industry has a lot to advance.
How to motivate your team?
I think the best motive is to be part of the team, and never be afraid to get dirty hands – especially in operations – as well as show the team your appreciation and allow them to shine.
What is the only element that you cannot travel without?
Hair dryer … I know this is the response of a very typical lady and I feel ashamed almost.
Who is your role model?
I would like to say that I have no role model in itself – perhaps it will serve as a mixture of different people, but I generally appreciate the people who take life with a smile.
What will your CV will be called?
It is always worth going to an additional mile.
Cats or dogs?
I am definitely a dog person – although cats always want to convince me of their love too.
Early owl or night owl?
Unfortunately – this additional wrinkles may be explained around the eyes.
If you can only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what will be?
I love pasta and seafood.
