ECS Group subsidiary AVS GSA, in collaboration with Thai Vietjet and Lactasoy, has provided critical support to flood-affected communities in Chiang Rai, Thailand.
In response to the devastating floods that affected more than 8,000 families in the northern part of the country, this partnership focused on getting essential relief supplies to those in need.
As part of this initiative, the AVS GSA team collaborated with Lactasoy to donate 900 cartons of soybean milk, weighing 7.7 tons, to support the affected communities. The cargo was successfully delivered on board flights VZ130 and VZ132 from September 18 to 19.
In addition, AVS-GSA served as the general sales agent (GSA) for Thai Vietjet Air, which provided free air transportation of relief materials, including food, water and clothing, to flood-affected areas.
Crucial aid flown to Chiang Rai flood victims appeared for the first time at Air Cargo Week.
