
Embraer has announced the expansion of its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service network to support the growing fleet of e-aircraft in the United States with the opening of a new Embraer-owned service center at Peru Field Alliance Airport, in Fort Worth, Texas. .
In partnership with the City of Fort Worth, Denton County and the State of Texas, Embraer expects to begin operations at the current hangar, in the first quarter of 2025, while building a second hangar scheduled for completion by 2027. With the new facilities, it is expected to see capacity Embraer has significantly increased its E-Jets customer service in the United States.
“This expansion will significantly increase the capacity, capabilities and footprint of our service network by providing world-class support to our customers and the growing fleet of E-Jets in North America. It is also part of a strategic Embraer’s growth in the United States.
The new Fort Worth service center will be added to Embraer’s global network of 80 authorized centers and 12 owned service centers around the world. Fort Worth has been selected as the final site for the proposed project, subject to local government approval of certain proposed incentives.
