
Menzies Aviation has announced a series of appointments to high positions in the American region, which strengthens its leadership team.
Among the newly announced appointments, Oliver Ashton was promoted to the position of first vice president of Cargo America, while Chris without the position of Senior Vice President for Sales, Trade and Business Development. Arvin Nagoulis takes a step to the newly created role as the first vice president of organizational change in the Americas, while Nigel Shatloworth holds the position of Senior Vice President for the Earth handling of North America and the Caribbean.
Oliver Ashton, who was newly appointed as the first vice -president of Cargo America, has more than two decades of time in the aviation industry, including 15 years with Avianca, who played a major role in the airline’s integration process after its merging in Colombia and Ecuador. He joined Mesis as a consultant in 2021, where he held the position of commercial manager and director of freight operations in the Latin American region.
Chris Don, who joined Menzies in 2012 as a trainee, held several positions in the company including the project manager, the director of revenue management, and the vice president. As the first vice president of sales, trade and business development, Chris will play an effective role in overseeing the exciting expansion plans of Menzies across the American region.
After taking over the newly created position and is the first vice president of organizational change in the Americas, Ervin Nagoulis will take responsibility for the leadership of institutional transformation, the development of information technology strategies, and the promotion of employee participation. Before joining Menzies Aviation in 2020, Arvin has held a series of leadership positions in Westjet Airlines.
Finally, Nigel Shatloworth became the first vice president for ground handling in North America and the Caribbean Sea region after nearly three decades of work at Menzies Aviation. After occupying a variety of roles in Menzies, including the director of shipping and general manager, Nigel will now focus on providing safe and consistent ground handling services to customers throughout the region.
