Tower Cold Chain has launched a sustainability hub for customers, highlighting how its practical advisory approach to pharmaceutical cold chain requirements can help reduce waste and achieve improved sustainability.
The interactive landing page provides a single location for customers of temperature-controlled transit packaging professionals to access four useful areas – the Sustainability Toolkit, Knowledge Center, Tower Performance and Achievements Reporting, and Ethics and Compliance Declarations.
The intention is to rethink how Tower works with stakeholders across the pharmaceutical supply chain, to achieve the common goal of better sustainability.
“A commitment to sustainability is at the heart of our mission, not only within our operations but also in how we empower customers, both large and small. We recognize that achieving our ambitious sustainability goals is crucial,” said Marlos Wanweg, EMEA Regional Operations Director and Sustainability Leader. “It’s important for the future, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.” in Cooling tower series.
“Consequently, we wanted our sustainability communications to be not just a standard set of reporting documents, but a practical resource that delivers data-driven insight and intelligence to our clients.”
The Sustainability Toolkit provides information on a range of services provided by Tower to support clients’ environmental, social and governance (ESG) requirements. This includes Tower’s recently launched Carbon Footprint Calculator, which helps customers assess the environmental impact of their cold chain operations by estimating the carbon emissions associated with transporting medicines.
Alongside this, there are details on Tower’s engineering consultancy, fast track qualifications and Tower Control Center portal – all designed to enhance customers’ experience in using Tower’s temperature-controlled containers.
The Knowledge Center compiles Tower’s current blogs, case studies and white papers into a central library containing indispensable information on how Tower’s services and products support pharmaceutical manufacturers’ ESG goals.
This is supported by key facts and figures about the company’s sustainability roadmap, goals achieved to date and future targets, and governance statements on ethics and compliance with regulatory requirements.
“We welcome people to browse the Sustainability Center to find answers to their questions, both related to Tower’s efforts to become more sustainable, but more importantly, how we continue to support the global pharmaceutical supply chain to do the same,” Marlos concluded.
