
Challenge Group, a comprehensive solutions provider for complex vertical sectors, has announced the acquisition of an additional Boeing 747-400F aircraft.

“The new 747-400F is a testament to Challenge Group’s commitment to staying ahead of the curve despite industry discussions about excess capacity,” said Or Zak, Chief Commercial Officer, Challenge Group. “It is an ideal choice for transporting goods such as heavy and bulky goods, horses, pharmaceuticals, aircraft engines, dangerous goods, automobiles and other complex vertical sectors, and will enhance our capacity and flexibility, allowing us to tap into new markets as well.”
The aircraft has a unique loading capacity and payload of 120 tonnes, and is set to elevate Al Challenger Group’s operational capabilities, ensuring timely and efficient cargo transportation in the evolving air cargo landscape.

In recent years, Challenge Group has diversified its fleet with the addition of a B767-300BDSF in August 2023, continuing the conversion program with two aircraft undergoing simultaneous conversion, and the full fleet of four converted B767 freighters is expected to be fully operational. By the third quarter/2024.
The Challenge Group expects the new aircraft to be deployed on strategic trade corridors to enhance connectivity between Europe and the Far East.
