Air Menzies International (AMI), a prominent global shipping company and part of Menzies Aviation, has announced its investment in a new facility designed for this purpose in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The new facility is less than one kilometer from Tambo International Airport, and the current branch of Ami will replace the Ami in Aviation Park, Bomona. This step, which was set in September 2023, will increase the capacity, improve efficiency and support for long -term growth in the region.
The new facility has a warehouse of 4,7500 square feet, which greatly increases the company’s charging capacity. The introduction of a new airfarers on AirFeright Offort to import customers will add a broader set of shipping services already offered to the South African market. From the opening date, the new facility will be fully compatible with the relevant regulations from the Civil Aviation Authority in South Africa, including Part 108, which requires all examination on site.

The solar panels that were installed on the surface of the building are designed to provide more sustainable operations, and will work on up to 80 percent of the demand for electricity and energy -saving equipment, such as an electric thorn, in the warehouse. This new facility will complete the planned promotions to the damaged company department in Johannesburg, located at the Foreign Airlines station at Tambo International Airport. The size of this specialized air facility will increase by more than 4,300 square feet, which greatly enhances the temperature of temperature control. Customers will also benefit from new services, including the variable temperature control of multiple damaged goods.
