WFS is already a fixed provider for passenger services for airlines at JFK, as 12 airlines in all stations serve travelers who travel on more than 3,500 flights annually.
The new slope license below the wing becomes valid as of October 1, 2024. It covers all the activities of the slope processing and cabin cleaning services.
“This is a big step forward for the process of dealing with the Earth at JFK 4. It enables WFS to provide a full and comprehensive service to passengers and aircraft,” said Mike Simpson, CEO of WFS. “We commend the JFKIAT on their comprehensive analysis of service providers as part of their selection process, which confirms the importance of this license. This gave WFS the opportunity to show our strengths and capabilities in providing safe slope and world championship handling services in addition to our expansion of ground handling operations, and our safety commitment, Local knowledge, global access, and financial strength to finance investment
“We are excited to enter into this strategic partnership with WFS to provide land processing services globally to T4 Airlines,” said Susanna Disa, Vice President of Operations at JFKIAT. “Their innovative and sustainable approach in the wing operations is completely compatible with JFKIAT values and station 4.”
