Awely Aviation Software (AWEY) appointed Wayne Villan Consultant to grow and develop products, as her higher commercial team enhances the increasing demand for advanced air charging solutions.
Villan brings extensive experience in aviation and digital transformation programs, after previous consulting roles in air freight technology companies.
“Our customers are increasingly searching for integrated solutions to simplify their operations,” said AWEY CEO, Vitaly Smileitz.
“Wayne’s experience in developing practical solutions to air charging companies is compatible with AWEY’s commitment to connecting and changing programs that solve the challenges of frequent industry.
“Its visions will be of special value as we strengthen our digital tools, and expand in the United States and Southeast Asia.”
Recently, Villan has co-founded Air Cargo Start-UP and Tricargo, a non-profit solution, focusing on improving communication between shipping pensions, sales agents and public services to airlines (GSSAS) to pay efficiency and new business.
“After I worked widely in adopting emerging technology, including in the air freight sector, I understand the challenges, and most importantly, the opportunities facing the industry,” Villan said.
“It will be my focus on ensuring AWEY growth, and the products continue to develop to meet the changing needs of the market.”
His previous experience also includes more than five years of working in senior roles in the advisory pioneer, Acceneture, where customers have advised to implement digital innovations through multiple industries.
“Awery has a strong reputation in leading digital change through the aviation sector, and I look forward to working closely with the team to develop business and enhance his solutions that have already turned efficiency and communication in air cargo.”
To date, more than 45 GSSA from the AWEY ERP platform, which is a vital tool for sales operations management through hundreds of airline customers.
Villan will join the AWEY management team at the Global Shipping Symposium of the International Air Transport Association from 15 to 17 April 2025 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
