
Chapman Freeborn has completed a strategic restructuring of its European freight operations team to manage long-term strength in traditional markets and growth in new industry segments.
James Gilliard has been named vice president, freight sales, and Marcus Schmidt, vice president, commercial freight operations, both reporting to Reto Hunziker, who remains president of Europe.

In addition to the restructuring, Chapman Freeborn has appointed a General Sales Agent for Eastern Europe, a new position that strengthens its coverage across the EU and diversifies its sales base.

Gilyard will lead client acquisition and expansion into new markets while Schmidt will head the brokerage operations, converting client orders into new business opportunities.
