
CPK has signed a contract to design the Aviation Operations Monitoring Center. The contractor has one year to complete the entire building design, including a request for a construction permit. This is the third contract for the airport supporting facilities design, after the Air Monitoring Tower and Infrastructure Emergency Services and Fire Services.
AOCC is a center for the management and coordination of airlines operations, where data on aviation planning, airport square movement, crew management, ground handling activities and weather conditions are monitored and processed.
“The design works are progressing steadily.” Dr. Masij Lasik, the government commissioner, told CPK: “The operations center is a decisive element at the airport.”
CPK has signed a net value of about 4.7 million Polish Zloti with a group of companies: Pig Architekci and GMT. The contract includes preparing multidisciplinary design documents, which include conceptual, construction, artistic and detailed designs, in addition to other necessary documents required to obtain project approvals.

The Operations Center is the third project that was assigned under one of the framework agreements to design airport support facilities (SIE), which CPK signed in 2023 with 13 companies and union chosen through a tender process.
Air traffic control tower is currently in the advanced design stage. This is the result of a contract worth 15.5 million Polish Zloti, signed by CPK with JSK Architekci.
In conjunction, work is underway to design emergency services and firefighting buildings. This task is carried out in favor of CPK through a group of companies: Ake Studio, APA and TEQUM. The value of the contract is 6.6 million clear Polish Zloti.
Later this year, CPK plans to grant a fourth design contract under the framework agreement for support facilities, as the company announced another tender from this group. The contract includes design and technical consultations for maintenance rules, which will serve three main purposes: First, snow removal services at airport (including storage of winter equipment and chemicals); Second, for vehicle maintenance services (including transportation and construction equipment); Third, a service center for technical maintenance for equipment. The deadline for presentations is September 20 this year.
