
Emirates Airline and the Museum of the Future are hosting the first Future of Aviation Week, which will take place from 15 to 17 October 2024 in Dubai.
UAE ministers, senior government officials and industry leaders from across the aviation, aerospace, air cargo, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and logistics sectors will gather in Dubai for the inaugural event. The event offers a platform for unparalleled insights and opportunities for discussion on the passenger journey, future traffic demand, air freight and logistics, as well as the latest developments in AI and XR.

Future of Aviation Week will include keynotes, panel discussions and workshops over three days. The first day includes a packed program led by speakers and industry experts who will address air travel demand, airport infrastructure and how airports, airlines, aviation manufacturers and other stakeholders can deliver an improved passenger experience using technology.
The second day will be devoted to developments in the field of air freight and logistics services, while the second half of the day will focus on developing maintenance, repair and Umrah operations within the region. The third and final day will explore the potential of Web3, AI and XR solutions that push boundaries to enhance workflow efficiency and service delivery. The sessions will also address the strategies required to rethink current operations through AI, and the collaboration needed to improve the skills of today’s aviation workforce to adopt, adopt and benefit from these technologies.
In addition to the main program route, Future Aviation Week will also include a rich exhibition stand showcasing the latest aviation technologies. Visitors can learn about new products and concepts and network with industry representatives. Emirates Airline and the Museum of the Future will organize a series of interactive workshops, with support from the Emirates Customer Experience teams, dnata, Emirates SkyCargo and Flight Operations, the Emirates Airline and dnata Environment teams, Boeing, and the Emirates Group Youth Council.
