
Menzies Aviation has announced that it has succeeded in reaching its goal of 25 percent of women in leadership roles, in line with the International League (IATA) campaign 25by2025 of the Air Transport Association.

This announcement, which was released before International Women’s Day (March 8), is a major milestone on Menzies’s commitment to gender diversity and integration into the aviation industry. Reaching this goal has become possible through a strong role model, employee participation, focusing on diversity in the company’s caliphate planning, providing targeted development and guidance to high future female leaders.
The company’s comprehensive Thrive program, a training program for women, which was launched in 2022, is specifically for women, employees to formulate a clear vision of job and personal success. It is designed to enable the participants to harness their strengths, understand their weaknesses, and align their values for personal and vocational growth. More than 125 participants have completed the program so far.
As part of everything in the sustainability strategy, Menzies is committed to continuing to promote diversity and build a comprehensive environment for all employees. It has made great progress against its goal of 40 % of the average leadership roles held by women by 2033, reaching 29 % across the world world in 2024. In addition, she committed to recruiting refugees to 1 % of its global operating power by 2026.
