The market share around the world exceeded the sales agents and public air freight services (GSSAS) 25 % and continued to grow in 2023, especially in some categories of weight exceeding and in various markets and regions, as well as detailed analyzes by global market data.
The GSSA market continues to develop, as GSSAS is in charge of a growing range of jobs for airline managers, depending on the size and development of the carrier, relative importance and the complications of individual market.
Factors that continue to lead the use of external sales sources and shipping management include GSSAS transport companies that expand to new markets, and the need to increase flexibility in a world with more ability to predict, and pressure on employee resources. GSSAS highlights a general shortage of skilled workers in many markets, noting that airlines are hesitant to add individuals or have pressure to reduce the size of the workforce or reduce costs. GSSAS argues that it can provide a more entrepreneurial mentality and can be able to do so more quickly than employees or flexible airlines if the process and folders require this.
The pioneer GSSAS also stated that transport companies in the air freight sector increasingly require very professional and special services, especially in operational efficiency, safety and security, business intelligence, and strategic guidance. This, and the need to invest in increasingly advanced technology solutions, is among the factors that also lead to more monotheism and growth between GSSAS.
According to the analysis conducted by the WorldAr, using the largest and most detailed air freight database in this industry, more than 26 % of all air cargo is calculated by GSSAS. This is the market share that has grown steadily over the years, as it grows by half a percentage in 2023 (from 26.13 % in 2022 to 26.61 % in 2023).

Regional differences
Zoom in different regions of the global air freight market, you will find significant differences. One of the amazing elements is the number of different GSSA companies that participate in air cargo in different parts of the world. Most GSSAS was found in the Middle East and South Asia (MESA), where the GSSA database in Worldcd is shown 206 active players, followed by 177 GSSA in Asia Pacific. North America has a relatively few GSSAS with just less than 50 in total.
Moreover, there is also a great contrast in its market share that GSSAS maintains between individual regional markets, as GSSA controls only 15 % of the air freight market in North America, while GSSAS controls about 53 % of Mesa air charging.
Looking at growth on an annual basis for the total markets of GSSAS in various major global regions, based on a broken weight in 2023, compared to 2022, WorldADACD also separated the incoming and external performance of the market as a whole for these areas- to give a general sense of how GSSAS performs compared to the markets Regional in general. Numbers indicate that GSSAS performance is better than the market as a whole in all major regional markets, with the exception of Europe, as GSSA outperforms the total market in Asia and the Pacific and in Central and South America.
The size of the charge size
When it comes to the size of air cargo shipments, it seems that the market share of GSSAS is increasing with the increase in the size of the shipments, as the analysis indicates by Worldacd. For example, for 0-50 kg charges, about 17 % of GSSAS in 2023, compared to 27 % for all shipments of 500 kg and larger. The analysis also shows that in 2023, GSSAS increased its share in the market throughout the entire air freight work by at least one percentage of five out of six weights of weight. But interesting, the largest market increase for GSSAS was in 2023 in the category of 50-100 kg.

Special deal
A wide range of air charging products requires special treatment, due to (for example) goods or conditions in the place of origin or destination, with a special charging representing about 40 % of the market, and growing. The analysis conducted by WorldACD indicates the extent in which GSSAS is responsible for sales of these special products in 2023. It seems that the shipments of precious things by air are less than GSSA, while for meat, fish and seafood, as well as live animals and medicines /temporary shipments , GSSAS is responsible for +30 % of the market.
GSSAS in air freight works is especially prominent in Europe, Asia and the Pacific. The shape below shows the distribution of the market share for each weight break for each region. Europe and Asia and the Pacific dominate all the semested weights of the market with the market share combined (the total market represented by GSSAS) from about 60-70 %, although this is closely related to large sizes of air cargo in these areas compared to other regions in the world.
