The first Hong Kong air flight to PIK will be an Airbus A330-200F company operating from Hong Kong, with additional flights that were already planned on February 18 and 25, 2025.
“The arrival of Hong Kong air flights is a clear sign that our efforts to develop Brestoy are the leading e -commerce center that provides results,” said Niko Le Rocks, PIK’s business development director.
“We have made great investments over the past year to improve our goods processing capabilities and attract traffic from the Far East, with new equipment and appoint a dedicated airport representative in Greater China.
“This comes in addition to the expansion based on our recently announced partnerships with Royal Mail Group and Chicago Rockford Airport in the United States.”
Hong Kong Air Codes will carry the first three of the four best e-trading platforms-Shein, TIMU and Tiktok- all operate outside Hong Kong.
“PIK is our first new destination for 2025 and is the ideal choice to support our growing operations in the United Kingdom, where we will benefit from times of rapid transformation and an experienced charging team,” said Tony Ma, Chairman of the Hong Kong Air Company.
“The axis site is perfect for our e -commerce flights, with easy access to road connections and railways, as well as by sea to Ireland, and we look forward to filling our legs with two of the largest UK exports to the Far East weight.
“We look forward to working closely with the team in Brestoy to develop this new road.”
Each trip will carry up to 60 tons of goods, which will be treated and sorted in PIK before connecting the final mile by Royal Mail Group and EVRI.
The PIK’s business development team is now focusing on the goods of the return station to Hong Kong.
“The next step is to ensure the use of return flights to Hong Kong completely, providing a great opportunity for Scottish exporters,” said Le Rocks.
“Scottish and whiskey salmon are largely seeking in Asia, and this new path provides a direct and effective way to get these distinct products to the Hong Kong market and the Chinese main ground.”
The airport cooperates with Scottish export associations to increase exports that fly from PIK, and avoid transporting goods to London Heathrow Airport.
