
Lufthansa Cargo has officially resumed operations in Tel Aviv. The airline is enhancing cargo services and will offer five regular weekly cargo flights from 2 February 2025, operating with Boeing 777F and Airbus A321F aircraft.

Lufthansa Cargo’s first cargo flight to Ben Gurion International Airport was led by senior leadership, including Stephanie Bon Helbig, Head of the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and CIS Region, and Captain Matthias Lehmann, Head of Transport and Flight Operations. Upon their arrival, they were greeted by Shaul Grimberg, Head of Sales and Engagement with Israel, along with his local team.
“We are now ramping up our operations, and from 2 February, we will be offering five regularly scheduled weekly cargo flights with B777F and A321F aircraft again,” a LinkedIn post said.

Lufthansa Group’s passenger airlines will also resume flights to Tel Aviv from February 1.
Over the past few months, airlines around the world have suspended flights to a range of locations in the Middle East due to the outbreak of fighting in the region.
