SITA, the global leader in air transportation technology, has announced the appointment of Natalie Altwig as Senior Vice President of SITA’s Airports Business Unit. Altwig will lead SITA’s further growth in the airport market, building on the company’s presence in more than 1,000 airports around the world, as well as its drive to reinvent and digitize operations and flights across the world through cutting-edge technology and innovation.

Altwig takes up her new role after serving as Chief Operating Officer at SITA Europe for two years, where she brings extensive management experience in the areas of strategy, commercial, people and portfolios. With more than two decades of experience in the air transport industry, Altwig has gained a deep understanding of the airport business, along with expertise in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, IT outsourcing and business development of all sizes, including large and complex business opportunities.
