Seafrigo Group has appointed Bruno Plantaz as its new Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The company’s founder, Eric Barbee, serves as president and will work alongside Plantaz as they execute the next phase in their global growth plan.
Plantaz brings more than two decades of international shipping and contract logistics experience to his new role, having previously held senior management positions in Europe, the Middle East and Asia at CEVA Logistics and Kuehne & Nagel.
In his new role, Plantaz will be responsible for directing Seafrigo’s global operations and structuring the organization to execute its long-term growth strategy.
“This company is a sparkling diamond, and now it needs to be polished until it shines even more,” Plantaz says. She is highly customer focused and has an exceptional entrepreneurial spirit; We now need to grow and expand its services to include more countries around the world. We have a president with extraordinary business development skills and I am thrilled to be here to work with him and the team he has built over the past 40 years.
The way has already been paved for the upcoming international expansion of Seafrigo’s refrigerated services into new markets in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia with a number of announcements planned in the coming months.
Plantaz will be based out of the group’s new global headquarters in Le Havre, France.
