In one of the industries first, DimerCO’s global shipping shipments with Cathy Carpo held a successful pilot from a new air car solution that transports shipments from Singapore to Dongguan, China via Hong Kong, and shaves until a holiday from the well -known air truck schedule.
Dimerco has developed an Air-SEA solution to provide a faster alternative to air truck service.
Dimerco team worked closely with Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) to improve the transit time to charge the integrated circles of a semi -conductor distributor. I grew up in Singapore, the shipment was moved by air to HKIA, then by sea to the port of Dongguan (DGM) and Truck to DGM Logistics Park and to the delivery destination. It took only 3 days of flight time.

In a smooth process, Dimerco coordinated the entire process, evaluating opportunities to save time and costs at each stage. After launching the shipment from the air station without the need for a customs permit, it was withdrawn to the sea port. The marine part of the operation provided a more cost -effective alternative to the pool, and Dimerco has determined that with the planned insertion of the most frequent sailing, the transit time can be reduced by 12 and 24 hours.

The three participants in the pilot – Airport Authority, Cathy Shipping and Demirko – analyzed the results of the pilot and identified more efficiency, including conducting documents and the integration of customs data. This will improve the flow of the process for future operations.
