SolitaireThe newly launched Dubai-based air cargo company that caters to medium-distance logistics demand has announced the launch of its first daily scheduled flights between Dubai and Riyadh.
The service between Dubai World Central (DWC) and Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (RUH), began on 4 December 2024 to meet the growing demand for fast and reliable logistics solutions between the two regional hubs, which together handle 1.2 million tons of air. Shipping annually.
The service will be available to transport goods on both legs of the flight, five days a week, from Tuesday to Saturday.
It is operated by one of SolitAir’s two Boeing 737-800 narrowbody freighters, with a capacity of 23 tons. Another Boeing 737-800 freighter will join the fleet in January next year to enable the company’s immediate expansion plans, which include routes to India, Bangladesh, key markets across Africa, Stan countries and other hubs in the Middle East. Ultimately, SolitAir aims to connect more than 50 cities in the Global South within a six-hour flying radius of Dubai.
