
For two days, on February 24 and 25, about 100 developers thought about 9 teams from all over the world how to use one iATAS from standard to make supply chains more efficient. Among the four challenges dealt with in the current Iata Hackathon in Dublin, was the first challenge to the stomach. The goal was to create a solution to examine the AI -backed service from ULD. The best approach was found by the Cargosystems team, presented by Dr. Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt, CEO of Jettainer, the prize that gives it 3000 dollars.
With Luna, the team has developed an assistant working in AI to check the service ability of any type of ULD using sound, text and images. The solution meets the need for a fast, accurate ULD assessment and fully automated by taking advantage of the power of one record application programming interface.

The winners were chosen by a jury from experts who are well tried from the industry who evaluated the results in accordance with the original standards and innovation, artistic entitlement, difficulty, influence skills and presentation. Other prizes went to the Plac1 team (one record prize), Ne: one simulation (Open Logistics Award) and PHP (Riege Deleper).
“The only Hackathons are always a source of inspiration with many innovative methods that deserve to be followed up. It’s really exciting and I cannot wait to see these ideas that are implemented in the near future,” he draws Henk Mold, IATA digital goods head, as a positive result.
