The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) announced that its Air Cargo Forum was a resounding success. This year the ACF succeeded in its mission to deliver a first-class event that brings the global air cargo industry together to discuss, debate and network. This year’s event was held in Miami, Florida.
The event, held in Miami, Florida, focused on bringing leaders from around the world to Miami for 4 days of conferences, networking, and exhibitions. The event attracted more than 3,500 delegates from more than 80 countries around the world to discuss issues affecting the global air cargo community. The exhibition featured more than 300 booths from trucking companies, ULDs, IT companies, airports and airlines. There are plenty of networking opportunities with new event features like a golf tournament, sunrise yoga sessions, evening receptions, and an F2F meeting scheduling software that connects participants in fun and personal ways.
This year’s forum included a main stage as well as an air cargo spotlight which allowed the industry to showcase its developments on the trade show floor. The event brought together 85 industry leaders who shared their knowledge and expertise with the audience. Topics such as airports, regulatory and business challenges, creating new opportunities, network expansion, digital innovation, people in the workplace, pharmaceuticals, sustainability and the prospects for air cargo were discussed.
“The Air Cargo Forum has once again proven to be a must-attend event. The Board has developed a set of core principles that TIACA events need to meet, and the team has delivered. We are very pleased that this event has set such a high bar for future ACFs We look forward to continuing to grow and develop this brand as a leading global event in the industry.” Stephen Polmans, President of TIACA
