
Thomas Cohen has joined leading independent shipping company Unsworth as Managing Director of its UK business, with current Managing Director Richard Hogg becoming Unsworth Group CEO, and Charles Hogg leading the company’s Client Solutions team as Commercial Director.
Cohen joins from the World Transport Agency (WTA), where he was director for nearly a decade, in a year that will see Unsworth celebrate the golden jubilee of its founding in 1974.
With a proven track record in developing independent shipping companies, he also spent ten years at JE Bernard as a Global Key Account Manager and was a director at Kuehne+Nagel.
“My vision for the future of shipping aligns perfectly with Unsworth’s demonstrated investment in technology and business process innovation, unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction and fostering a culture of continuous improvement,” Cohen said.
