WCAWorld has announced management changes to the WCA Dangerous Goods Networks and WCA Projects as well as its affiliate network Lognet Global, which will come into effect in January 2025, marking a new chapter in the leadership of its global networks. When Bruce Cotillo and Brian Churchman announced their retirements, these transitions served as a moment to honor the exceptional contributions of retiring leaders while welcoming a new generation of visionaries committed to strengthening WCAworld’s position as the leading network of freight forwarders.

Decades of dedication
After 11 brilliant years, Bruce Cotillo, Managing Director of the WCA Dangerous Goods and WCA Projects networks, will retire at the end of 2024. Bruce has been instrumental in raising both networks to global prominence. Under his leadership:
· WCA Dangerous Goods has become the world’s premier independent dangerous goods shipping network, and now has more than 160 member offices in 45 countries.
· WCA Projects has grown into a respected center for project logistics, with more than 400 member offices worldwide, recognized for its stringent quality standards and dynamic member partnerships.
Commenting on his career, Bruce said: “WCA projects have been the most enjoyable part of my career since 1981. It has been an honor to work with such highly professional members, many of whom I consider friends.”
In addition, Brian Churchman, Managing Director of Lognet Global, will step down after 14 years of outstanding service. Brian’s visionary leadership has transformed Lognet Global into one of the world’s most dynamic and respected freight forwarder networks, known for its uniqueness and quality. His unwavering commitment to supporting members and embracing innovation has left an indelible mark.
Brian expressed his gratitude, saying: “I am really proud to support Lognet Global members and will miss the camaraderie, especially at our conferences. I wish all members continued success in their business and personal lives.”
Welcoming the next era of leadership
WCAworld introduces new leaders who will continue these legacies:
Bryce Barnhart, a long-time senior director at WCAWorld, will succeed Brian as Managing Director of Lognet Global. Price has 15 years of networking experience, including leadership roles in North America and in-house NVOCC All World Shipping. Price is looking forward to his first conference at the helm in Phuket, Thailand, in May 2025.
Erwin van der Genugten, based in Amsterdam, will assume the role of Managing Director of WCA Projects in addition to his roles as Regional Director for Europe WCA and Managing Director of EGLN. With nearly a decade of collaboration with Bruce and a deep understanding of the network, Erwin is committed to ensuring WCA Projects remains a trusted name in project logistics.
UK-based Adam McKenna will become Managing Director of WCA Dangerous Goods. As a long-trusted General Manager of the WCA Perishables, WCA Pharma and WCA Time Critical networks, Adam has a clear vision for growth and is keen to build on Bruce’s achievements, starting with the inclusion of dangerous goods members at the WCA Specialty Logistics Show in Dubrovnik.
