The young Shipping network of the British International Shipping Association (YFN) has reached a century of events.
A tour of the Southampton container station in the world witnessed that the network achieved this prominent landmark for the face of the face and virtue after four years of its establishment in 2019.
“To achieve this after only four years of launch, and despite the epidemic, it is worth it.
“It is a testimony to young jurists who ascended and created many regional network groups, which are designed to help early talents, trainees and young employees on members of the Trade Association to develop their knowledge and professional skills.
“When it was launched, BIFA said it believed that it will prove it is a major step forward for this industry in developing ambassadors and leaders in the future. We have seen it an integral part of BIFA’s attempts to improve the strengthening of the sector, making it more attractive to younger people and providing the forums from which he learns.
“Four years around this matter has faced the situation. More than 1,000 people have participated in the YFN events since 2019, which ranged from educational, such as presentations on specific aspects of the shipping and logistical services industry, to pure social meeting, such as testing and bread nights – and the YFN group on LinkedIn now a society of more than 2,000 followers.
“Young people who participate in the events develop and improve their knowledge of the sector and directions inside it, as well as building their skills groups and learning from others, while developing their social and commercial networks.”
Commenting on YFN over the past four years, Rudi Perte, a specialist in import/export for e -commerce, said, the first speaker at the YFN event in 2019, said: “I feel overwhelmed to know how much YFN development. The achievements and progress made so far are noticeable.
“The young striker, who suffer from decisive to the survival of the business sector that supports international visual trade in the United Kingdom, has been clearly visited by BIFA in 2019.
“At the time of constantly increasing technology and remote communication, communication through meetings was not face to face and direct contact is more important.”
OIA Global, who has participated in YFN since it started for the first time and was president of the virtual YFN, which was created in 2020, when he hit the epidemic, added: “Yfn is a great experience. It provides an opportunity to help grow your network, and encourages all young people to participate. It also provides a platform for sharing experiences with their colleagues in learning.”
“We all have helped to attract and keep young people to our industry. I have supported their development and understanding, by providing access to events and people, which could be just a good thing for the future,” said Chris Bakuod, Managing Director of Geodis Freight Forwarding UK and Ireland, YFN’s employer ruler.
Hopbis concludes: “What we need now is for all BIFA members to encourage and support the presence of their younger employees in the YFN events.
“Since the epidemic, it is very easy for people to do things from the comfort of their home or office, but the value of the people’s interview should not be reduced to face.
“I appreciate that companies want to return to their investment for time, but I am convinced that they will get this by supporting the BIFA YFN initiative and its activities. 100 % of the time, people learn something new from attending the YFN event, and this knowledge is restored and benefits members’ works.”
